Lakeland Historic Car Club It is with great sadness that the members, Council of management and officers of the Lakeland Historic Car Club have received the Announcement of the death of her majesty Queen Elizabeth II. The club gives Thanks for her lifetime of devoted service and Remembers our longest serving monarch with Affection and gratitude. It offers its deepest Sympathy to the royal family at this time.
In June of 1981 a group of like-minded individuals realised there was a need in The UK’s Lake District National Park for a club to cater for the growing interest in historic vehicles. Hence the Lakeland Historic Car Club was formed to encourage the preservation and use of historic vehicles older than 25 years in Cumbria & North Lancashire.

This includes, picnic and lunch drives, museum visits and car shows, and winter Sunday lunches along with two Christmas events. Members receive 6 x bi-monthly newsletters including specific details of events for the next two months.
