]]> This is important, as your petrol for your classic car is expected to  cost up to 20p/litre more after September 1st as E5 Unleaded fuel will only be available as a premium fuel costing you around £1.50/litre.  Filling your tank could cost you an extra £15, we need 100,000 signatures to force the government to debate this attack on our hobby, as they are possibly ignorant that forcing classic cars to use cheaper E10 fuel will damage our engines and we have no choice but to use the higher cost premium E5 fuel. There are 600,000 historic cars on our roads that will be affected, please sign this online petition soon to protect fuel costs for your hobby by clicking on the link below

]]> The club’s first ever new members evening was well attended at the Heaves Hotel with 12 new members booking in for a pleasant evening of introductions to 9 committee attendees including all the officers and 13 regular members. All enjoyed pleasant banter, food and non-alcoholic drinks supplied by the club. The Heaves Bar added to the evening’s enjoyment. New members seemed very grateful to meet those others present and learn more about our club.  We hope this may become an annual event.
