The club’s first ever new members evening was well attended at the Heaves Hotel with 12 new members booking in for a pleasant evening of introductions to 9 committee attendees including all the officers and 13 regular members. All enjoyed pleasant banter, food and non-alcoholic drinks supplied by the club. The Heaves Bar added to the evening’s enjoyment. New members seemed very grateful to meet those others present and learn more about our club. We hope this may become an annual event.
